In Hounslow, both the black wheelie bin and recycling boxes are collected fortnightly, but not necessarily on the same fortnight. Garden waste is collected fortnightly on the same day as recycling, for subscribers. All bins must be at the front boundary of your property by 7am, clearly visible and accessible from the pavement but not blocking it. In hot weather the presentation time moves earlier: 6am when temperatures reach 28C, and 5am at 33C and above.

How to report a missed bin collection in Hounslow

Before you report: Hounslow will not reattempt a collection if your bin was not presented correctly. Bins must be at the front boundary by 7am, lid fully closed, not contaminated and not blocking the pavement. You must report after 5pm on collection day and before 5pm the next working day.
