How to report a missed bin collection in Slough

Before you report: Slough Borough Council will not reattempt a collection if your bin was not presented correctly. Bins must be out by 6am on collection day, lid fully closed, correct waste inside, and accessible from the pavement.

  1. Check your bin was presented correctly. Bin at the boundary of your property, accessible from the pavement, lid fully closed, correct waste inside. If any of these were not met, wait for your next slough bin collection day.
  2. Confirm the crew has visited your road. Only report once you are sure the collection crew has already been to your street and your bin specifically was missed.
  3. Report after 7pm on collection day, within 2 working days. Go to www.slough.gov.uk/bins-waste-recycling/rejected-missed-bins and complete the missed collection form with your address and bin type.
  4. Leave your bin out. Keep it at the front of your property. Slough Borough Council will return within as soon as possible.
